Uncovering the past

Grandma and Granddad have been decorating their house in England.  When they stripped the wallpaper they uncovered this little gem from the past.

I don't recall who wrote about Snoopy and Mickey Mouse, I am guessing Barry based on the letter 'M' below, but this was a pretty old discovery.
