20 marathons in 2014

Okay, so I ran the equivalent of 20 marathons this year which is easier than running 20 marathons!!

Total miles 524.4, total calories 65,261, total time 67 hours, 35 minutes and 18 seconds, which is an average of just under 7 minutes and 44 seconds per mile.

This gave me around 1,888 steps and only 11 minutes of running per day if you average it all out!

Haven't decided on my goal for next year yet, I am sure it wont be run every day!

Cody getting ready for ski season

Cody is finally at the age where we're ready to push him down the ski slopes. Get the last kid off the mountain so we can do some real family skiing!! Yay!!

So, i took him to go get him his ski boots. He was in rather high spirits about it. He's been telling everybody and their grandmas about his ski pass(he calls it ski passport!! tee hee..)

Anyways, here's our little cutie pie, getting sized up. When the guy asked him which ski he wanted, he said.. "the red one!" HA!!

Let me feel your toes..

Bending over...

Happy Face!! Let's hope it's that happy on the slopes!!

Sapna's Baby Shower

Our sweet friend Sapna was having a baby shower and we were invited to go and eat some delicious Indian food!

It was lovely to be able to gather and celebrate this happy event.

Thanksgiving 2014 at the Heides

As the Chandrasekaras are away this year and our kitchen is still in a state of disarray, we were very lucky to be invited to the Heides for our Thanksgiving meal. We didn't even have to cook anything to boot! Woo hoo! So, for once i had a really relaxing Thanksgiving and even got to join the boys for the Turkey Trot!

Anyways, the Heides set the bar high again with their fried turkey and all the proper sides. It was great food and food company, just like any Thanksgiving should be!!

Bad news for the turkey!

Into the fryer it goes

I LIKE TURKEY LEGS!!

I figured i should include a picture of the kitchen on Thanksgiving Day. 4 ovens but none of them connected!! :) Also, no counter tops! Let's see how we fare for Christmas!!

p.s and if Uyen would send us some pictures, we'd have pictures of Alan and I!
