Jacket comparison

Fall is here and weather has recently turned chilly and of course i'm caught unaware. So, Tyler has been going to school with pants that are a little short for him. I know that fashion is quite the cool look for engineers, but it's not good enough for my son! ha!!

Anyways, so, i was out shopping like there is no tomorrow. I found that i shop the best if i am on my own. In 3 hrs, i visited Costco, Flatiron Mall and Kohl's and was home with 3 bags full of clothes! :) And to my surprise, nothing that i need to return! Yay!! That's a successful trip, i say! Even Tyler thought all his new clothes were cool! hehe..

So, one of things i noticed when i was shopping for Tyler's clothes this time was, he's BIG!! He's not even in the small kids section anymore!! *sniff sniff*

And when i got home, i did a size comparison with one of his old itty bitty jacket, maybe about 6 months old or older.(yeah, i still have it as it's one of my favorite piece).

It's kinda weird to shop for stuff that big because i keep thinking, surely he doesn't fit in this, but he does. Which part of me is kinda psyched, but part of me is kinda sad. But of course i turn around and say to him "Tyler, you're too thin, eat more!! Look at all these clothes, they are so loose on you!!" Ha!!

Mateo's Birthday party at Anderson Farms

Mateo's birthday is really in October. But since the weather in October is usually unpredictable, they usually have his birthday bash in September, when weather is much better!!

As with previous years, his birthday party is at Anderson Farms, which is one of my favorite farms. We discovered Anderson Farms about 10 yrs ago when it was a pokey little farm with a great corn maze. It has since exploded in commercialization. Quite sad...

But anyways, it's still a fun place for the kids. Here are lots of pictures of the farm.

Cody's Chinese

At Broomfield Academy, the kids are exposed to Chinese and Spanish which i think is a joke. But every now and then, the kids do surprise me with what they know(like their terrible singing).

Here's Cody and his chinese:

I was pleasantly surprised that he could name so many animals!! I'll try a video of his command of Spanish sometimes. I find it extremely funny for him to speak a different tongue.

Vow Renewal Ceremony

This weekend, we had traveled to Santa Fe to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. As part of the celebration, we did a Vow Renewal Ceremony and invited friends to join us. We were pleasantly surprised that 15 of our friends(and their kids) decided to come celebrate with us, which made us very happy!

It was an awesome weekend that i would like to write more about, but for a sneak preview, here are the videos of the ceremony and some pictures!
