I ran the firestone 5k on Saturday. This race also featured a kids fun run, so the boys also got to take part in the activities.
I hadn't run much this week as I was still suffering from the badminton tournament, so I wasnt expecting a super fast run, especially as it was a super hot morning. The course was pretty flat, and on trail/road so I was quite pleased to finish in
21:00 minutes for overall 6th place out of 298, just pipping the winning lady at the line by 2 seconds.
