Oliver's Party at Chuck E Cheese

One of Tyler's classmates had a party at Chuck E Cheese and everybody showed up to have some fun!

Riding the bus with Oliver

I never noticed this, but you can actually steer this to hit some "obstacles" on the screen

Cody rode this like 10 times

A hug for Chucky!

Tyler at the Zoo

Tyler had a class fieldtrip to the zoo today. So we dropped off Cody early and headed to the zoo.  In the morning we hung out with the rest of the class, after early lunch we went round the exhibits by ourselves.

Tyler's favorite was the flamingo !!

Got Milk!!

After date night, we all come home and Tyler had to drink his milk.  Cody decided that he also wanted to drink milk so we got out the big spoon and Cody thought it was funny to drink from the big jug and big spoon.

More milk please !!

Date Dinner at Qdoba

We only had time for a quick dinner at Qdoba tonight for our date night, after Tyler had finished his rock wall climbing.  Seemed to spend most of our time visiting the bathroom as both boys could go at the same time and thought it was funny.

Hulk sauce tastes good !!

Mt Everest Training - Day 1

When we go to the park Tyler often climbs the mini rock wall, so tonight we took him to the 'Derda' to start on his official Mt Everest training schedule on the rock wall they have there.

Tyler didnt make it to the top on this occasion, but he did make a good start and once he gets over the 'height' then I think he will be fine.

Everest height = 29,028 feet, Tyler climbed = 6 feet, remaining height = 29,022 feet !!

Are we there yet?

Which way now?

Just hanging out

Photoshoot with Siobhan

I was quite honored when Damith and Sabrina asked me to take some pictures of Siobhan to be sent to his parents. So, we got to use Alan's home made studio in our basement! :)

I was quite pleased with how it came out for my first time. But for sure this is an encouragement to get serious with my 2nd hobby for the year - photography!!

My dorky kids

Despite the grief that they give me and causing me to get gray hair, i am blessed with extremely dorky kids who makes me laugh!

Tyler thinks pulling his pants up is too funny!!

Walk at Tom Frost Reservoir

As we were expecting the Chandrasekaras for dinner tonight, we didn't have much time this evening, so Alan suggested a short walk at the Tom Frost reservoir and a slushy treat.

Let's blow some dandelions

Climbing the lotus!

Cody relaxing with Daddy

Tyler not so happy after falling of the lotus!!! (he decided to jump at the last step)

As promised, the slushy, though Alan did not get his coca-cola slushy!!!

Still grumpy

War wounds from sleepover

Tyler had another sleepover this weekend with Mateo and this was what he came back with! OK, fine, it didn't look this bad at first. It looks a lot worse after he's been practicing his swimming with his snorkeling gear! (which is a blog i should do, it's hilarious when he's wearing the mask!)

the end of his modeling career!

Bike Cake for Jeff

One of my friends from work, Jeff, invited us to his house for a meal. So, I said i'd make him a cake! :) Since he is such an avid mountain biker, i thought it should have a bike on it!

I made the bike out of fondant.. geez.. i'm a lousy sculptor!!!

Definitely need more practice with fondant and figure making!!!

Chocolate cake filled with chocolate cream cheese and strawberries

Frosted with chantilly cream and more fruits! Yes, the rocks are edible..

It seems like all my not-so-sweet tooth friends do enjoy the chantilly cream much better than any other frosting!

Anyways, here are some pictures from the dinner.

Tyler and Cody checking out the chickens

In Jeff's nice garden

The kids table.. cute...

And of course, Jeff and his cake!! :)

My first cake student

Not many people have embraced my new cake decorating hobby as much as my friend Emilio has. He is the man with 1 million hobbies. So, it's no surprise he showed up one night and demanded that he learns to decorate too! :)

He actually learned it really well and managed to fly thru my class 1 syllabus in one night and managed to decorate this cake before i kicked him out at 1 am! (my new cut-off time!!)

Emilio's cake ( a little girly, but that's because his teacher is girly)

Quarter Date Night at Pinocchios

Tyler went to Mateos for a few hours on Friday so we took the chance to go to Lafayette and grabbed dinner at Pinocchios.

I thought the food wasnt great, and the service was pretty slow but it was a nice night out..

Dinner for three

Downtown at the Aquarium

Tyler had the day off school, so he and Daddy took a trip to Denver Aquarium which sounds grander than it actually is.

Tyler liked the otters and the potato fish and was somewhat interested in the mermaids, but what he really liked was the scuba divers in the shark tank.  He didn't want to touch a sting ray but did see the archer fish spit water to knock crickets to the ground.

Here are a few pictures of his trip

Shark Bait?

Check out the fish !!

Original bubble boy?

I would have swum with the sharks
if only I had been taller

Tyler's first sleepover

We had Mateo sleep over at our house 2 weeks ago and it went really well. So, this weekend, it was Tyler's turn to sleep over the Contos.

This was Tyler all ready with his overnight bag. Our baby is all grown up.. :)

I'm ready to go, Mommy!!

Bouncing at Sophia's Party

It was Sophia's birthday party and we were invite to Bounce City in Longmont. Tyler had a grand time jumping off the big slides and Cody preferred to just ride the rocking horse..

Crazy Tyle jumping off

This is how other kids do it compared to Tyler
