Restaining of our deck.. again..

If i were to give a new home owner a piece of advice, it'd be - don't get a wooden deck! It's a maintenance nightmare!

Every 2 years or so, we have to restain our decks, which usually involves some back breaking hard work from our house guests at that time! This time, the unlucky selected one this time around was Patrick!!!

Combining Patrick's dedicated efforts and advice from some staff from Home Depot, our deck currently look it's best!!! Here are some of the pictures to walk thru the steps..

First, remove the old stain..

Patrick almost singlehandedly removed the old stain. Look at that clean deck! Not a lick of old stain to be found!!! That's hours of scrubbing!!!!!

Second, paint all the railings and sides and stuff..
