Cody made his debut this year in the
downhill mile. I had a bruised rib, so I ran with Cody, and we let Tyler make his own way to the finish.
Tyler improved his time from last year of 7:39, down to 6:15.2 good enough for 5th place in the U12 category (1st 8 year old), Cody was 3rd overall in 6 and under finishing in 9:29.8. I was pipped at the post by Cody, coming in at 9:30.5!
We stopped by a friends house for refreshments, then watched the small parade for the first time ever, before heading home for our annual 4th July party.
