Party Party Party!!!

While Alan was gone, my calender was filled with endless parties. I even had to miss some!

The first one was Hans' birthday party which i had to miss due to a migraine :(

Then on the 20th(which was also my wedding anniversary), it was my friend's baby girl's 100th day party. Tyler and I went to wish Kaiya a happy birthday and enjoyed some very good traditional Korean food.

Then later that night, there was Rohit's birthday celebration. Addy planned a night out at Sushi Zanmai for us with Karaoke after 10 pm. 11 of us showed up for the happy event and the most happy thing was, Tyler was home asleep!! After a grueling first week as a single mom, i was more than happy to give my money to Ana Cristina so that i could just enjoy a night without guilt!!!

Anyways, man, did that feel good. Addy and I sang our hearts out during the Karaoke and didn't even get booed once.

The following Friday, we got an invitation to Darshan's house for a quiet night in and some Indian movie. We went there very looking forward to some home-cooked Indian food but only to find pizza and wings on the table! Anyways, we stayed way too late and it was a long trek home.

On Saturday was Sabrina's birthday party. It was a low key affair fueled by comfort food and followed by poker, very entertaining twister and funny as heck Pictionary!! We had such a great time that we even forgot about the cake!!!!

With these 2 party packed weekend, i am quite looking forward for some quiet time by the calendar keeps filling up!!!!!! Stay tune..

Crawling out of debris

Fans, we're back!!!

It's been so long since i last blogged that I've become quite rusty at this. But for those who didn't know, we've been on vacation. We spent a week with my parents in Scotland and after dropping off Tyler at Alan's parent's, Alan and I spent a week of Tyler-free vacation in Rome and Venice.

So, i spent the few weeks before the vacation preparing for the trip and this past week recovering from the trip. So, that explains my lack of effort in blogging.

But stay tuned as I'm going to try to blog with vengeance hopefully in the next few days!
