Finally, after nearly 4 months. A good picture of my two boys together!!!!

Tyler seem to be more protective of his brother now though it's hard to see that when i catch him jumping on Cody in bed or pinching his little itty bitty fingers!!! It shows when we leave somewhere and he always asks, "Baby??"

And he calls his little brother by his nick name.. Codes.. haha!!

Cody on the other hand is beginning to notice his crazy running brother and watches him as he zips around.

 Tyler was fooling around with my Dad's glasses one day and i thought it looked actually good on him. Getting a good picture without him running around was actually the hard part!!

Hello world!!

With limited access to internet, you can imagine that blogging is a rarity. While i'm sitting here in a very busy ad noisy coffee shop with free WIFI, i'm typing with vengence to tell you all, we're still alive and well! I'll see how many blogs i can get in today!!

Cody at 15 weeks

Cody is very cute at 15 weeks with his constant babbling and smiling. He blows bubbles during his free time and flirts with others during his busy times...

Bus ride

Tyler has been asking for a bus ride ever since we got to Melaka. So, finally, today, he got his wish!! All of us piled into the bus to the local mall for a short ride.

Tyler at a barber's

Cutting a toddler's hair is never easy. Cutting Tyler's hair.. near impossible. So, i've been putting off his hair cut for quite some time(it has gone wild for quite some time!!).

Today, my dad needed a hair cut so, we thought, we'll give it a try and off to the barber shop we went. To show how it's done, my dad sat on the barber chair and started getting his hair cut while Tyler watched on the chair next to him.Then we told the guy to start on Tyler's hair.

To our surprise, Tyler sat there as quiet as a mouse, wincing at best when he felt a little threatened. Woo hoo!! Good job, Tyler!!

Tyler's new bike

Tyler has never shown any inclination to pedal on any tricycle. He seemed to prefer to push it around with his feet. So, you can imagine my amazement when, we were visiting a home of a relative, Tyler pedaled a bike into the kitchen(yes, the kitchen!! and of course, with training wheels!!). Though the bike was too big for him, he figured out he could pedal 1/4 of a circle at a time and pedal back when he couldn't reach.

So, with that, my dad and I decided, he should get his own bike. I still don't have a very good picture of him biking, so here are some initial indoor shots.

Motif Charity Walk 2010 - 8k For Charity

Alan woke up early on Sunday Morning and took part in a charity walk/run organized by his company.  8,000 plus people took part all wearing Motif T-Shirts around the roads of Ahmedabad

Alan finished 19th overall in the run, first person from Motif in a respectable 37 minutes for 8k.

Happy Chinese New Year

This year is my first opportunity in 14 yrs to celebrate Chinese New Year back home. It was full of hectic and chaos, just like any Chinese New Year!! :)

Due to bad planning on my part, i didn't get many photographs of the family. Usually CNY is a good time to get them as everybody is home for the holidays. Oh well.. better planning next time!!
