Sunflower Farm with Cody

As the kids have been off all week with Alan, i thought it'd be nice if i could do one activity with them. I suggested we went to Sunflower Farm in Longmont after work. We've been there once before and we(I) really liked it.

Turned out Tyler took too long to do his Kumon, so only Cody and I got to go. Both the boys are highly terrified of animals but Cody is starting to show some interest in them and i thought i should try a little harder at working out that fear.

Sunflower Farm is this cute little farm that actually feels like a real farm with lots of animals. It's got a really beautiful laid back feel to it that i feel like being a kid again. There are tire swings hanging from the huge trees and tractors and diggers left everywhere and all kinds of animals waiting for you to feed them!

Cody really enjoyed himself and was probably a treat for him to get ALL my attention. He was quite willing to try everything apart from the zipline!

Hanging out in the corn house

Feeding the goat with a scoop... did finally feed a baby sheep with his hands.. yay!

Was mesmerized with the digger

"drove to King Soopers" in his tractor

Exploring the tree fort

Checking out the horses

Ooh.. we got to ride one too! :)

Of course the farm is not complete without playing with giant legos!!!
