July 4th Party

We had our annual July 4th party this year again and for this year's theme, i went with another American tradition - Potluck party!! Everybody knows i hate having my guests bring stuff to my party, but since i was not sure how many people were going to show up, i decided that is probably the best way to go.

Which by the way, was the best decision i ever made because 39 people showed up that day! And what's best, i didn't stay up till some ridiculous hour the night before and even got to enjoy an quiet morning. Quite relaxing.

The kids got to go the little fair just in the green space behind our house and the adults had a good time chit chatting on our patio and enjoyed the abundance of delicious food brought by our guests! Most people actually stayed till dark. When it was getting dark, we lit a chinese lantern which was a delight to all the kids. But i think they adults got quite excited too!

And we also had the biggest group to join us in watching fireworks in Broomfield Commons. The beautiful fireworks was the perfect ending to a good party!

Guess where they are sitting??
