The kids were very excited to get to feed the giraffes and birds and were looking forward to it. Anyways, we were up early in the morning and headed down to Colorado Springs.
The zoo as usual is fun. But the boys are still a bunch of chickens and were terrified of animals. I had more fun feeding the giraffes and birds than them. Oh, the Chandrasekaras joined us for the trip and we all had a good time.
We went thru most of the zoo before breaking for lunch and after lunch we treated the kids to a carousel ride. Before we left the zoo, we visited the hippos and saw them feeding them which was very exciting.
That night, we went to the Curry Leaf to celebrate Steffen's birthday!
