Family Day at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch

My company was hosting a family day and this year we had it at the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch. It was cute little ranch with lots of things to do. The ranch was nestled in the hills in Loveland and was very picturesque and full of rustic charm.

Tyler and I got to fish and Cody got to go on a hayride with Alan. The kids also enjoyed walking the "tight rope" and riding a horse. Tyler was surprisingly very interested in fishing and was able to cast the fish pole pretty well. Unfortunately, he didn't catch anything for the few hours we were there, though he did manage to lose two hooks. One in the tree and one in the cat tails bushes. I, on the other hand, did catch a 22 in fish of some sort!! All in all, it was fun filled afternoon.

We might try to get our non-american family members to come spend a few days here next time to experience a real cowboy experience! :)
