Cody and Tyler take part in Cuda Classic

After a sunny day on Saturday, we woke up Sunday morning at 6am to get ready for Sunday swimming.  The weather had turned to snow and we had around 6 inches first thing in the morning.  The boys had a great weekend of swimming, improving a lot of times.  Cody also managed to win 3 of his races and took great delight in picking up his 3 duck prizes.  Tyler managed to add another state time to his list.

Trip to the zoo

The boys had a swim meet in the morning, and this Saturday the Denver Zoo had a free day, so we could all go and check out the zoo, before the snow came down Saturday night. The only issue with a free zoo day is that everyone makes the trip, so we ended up parking a mile away from the entrance, so we had already got our exercise in, before we walked round the zoo itself.  The boys seemed to really want to see the llamas for no apparent reason I could understand. They also liked the indoor bird exhibit as well.  We did get to see a baby ape..

The school district had the day off, and also allowed us to purchase cheap Avs tickets, so Tyler and I went and watched them.  Unlike last time we went, this time the team played well and had a 3-1 victory.  Cody meanwhile spent the afternoon playing laser tag with the neighbors.

Tyler and Cody have a mid air adventure for George's birthday

Tyler and Cody spent a few hours on the rope swings at mid air adventures this Sunday. It was a super sunny day, so I went outside and did a 10k run, while they played with their friends.  I came back in time for pizza and cake!

Cody takes 3 out of 4 wins in January Pizza Meet

Cody started off 2018 with 3 wins in his swim club Pizza meet.  He dropped a lot of time on his events and is ready for his first real meet of the year next weekend.

Cody playdate with Anay - finds a unicorn

Well Cody didn't exactly find a unicorn. More decided to paint a unicorn for his playdate at the craft store.  He put a lot of colors on his design, but we have to wait a week to see the final results.

Home Depot Calendar

It has been a long time since we have had a Saturday free to go to a Home Depot kids workshop. Tyler works on his own now to complete the build, Cody still needs a little help.
