Tyler and Cody attend Misty Hyman Swim camp
Instead of sending Easter eggs this year, Grandma and Grandad paid for the boys to attend swim camp with Misty Hyman. They enjoyed the camp and got to learn some new butterfly techniques as well as hear how she won her Olympic Gold and wear it for a picture.

Denver Auto Show - Off road in a Jeep, and testing out a porsche
After we finished our mile race, we quickly changed and headed downtown as I had managed to get some free tickets for the Denver Auto Show. It wasn't a large show, but they did have some super cars there, as well as regular cars. Highlights were the off road jeep ride, ferrari and porsche cars, as well as trying out corvette, charger and other regular cars. After the show we hit cheesecake factory as a treat for doing well in their run.

Tyler wins and Cody comes third in Mazzola miracle mile
In what has become a family tradition the boys and I took part in the Mazzola miracle mile on Sunday. Tyler has finished 3rd, then second last year, so this year he was determined to win and set out at a very fast pace and left everyone a long way behind. He won the race, by over 30 seconds. Cody was also determined to place this year, and set off strong. He moved up the field and with me protecting him from the strong wind, moved up to second place on the uphill. In the downhill section a runner (age 10) he had passed managed to overtake and they both sprinted for the finish line. Cody couldn't quite catch him, but had a really strong finish to end up in third spot. I finished fourth!

Colorado Hall of fame bowling
This year the Colorado badminton hall of fame dinner was at the bowling alley where the tournament is being held. We couldn't play in the tournament, but did go and show our support by bowling. The boys are getting a lot better, and they enjoyed the pizza.

Catch the spirit swim camp - Tyler selected
Tyler was lucky enough to be selected for the catch the spirit swim camp due to his high overall finish in state champs. I also got to attend, and learn about swimming scholarships for college amongst other things.
Tyler had fun and it was good to be selected as one of the top swimmers in the state.
