Another good reminder that Christmas is just around the corner is the Markers' annual Gingerbread Party. By some weird chance, Damith and I ended up with the same design ideas(call it what you want, i didn't copy your idea, Damith!!). So, we decided to just do one design between us. A Chandra-millsers team. Between Damith's ingenuity and my crazy enthusiasm, we were the dream team. Some may call it a nightmare. But we sure egged each other on and stayed up wayyyy late preparing for this house!

So, once Damith was done building, Sabrina, Hish and I started decorated and putting on the pretty bits. And hours and hours later, here's the fruit of our crazy ideas!
The house has "glass windows" made of carameled sugar and planters in the window!
Lights from within the house with home made garlands. And Damith did make the prettiest chimney and awesome fence.
Anyways, we were mightly pleased with the outcome, here are the rest of the competition which were pretty awesome too!

Anyways, i think most people really up'ed their game this year and all the designs were pretty spectacular and definitely is a fruit of hard labour and dedication.
p.s. i think the Heide's presense and competition were definitely missed this year!!!
