I set myself multiple goals this year with running. One of those goals was to run 1,000 miles. This evening the Mills family ran the last quarter mile with me to cross off the goal.
So how long does it take to run a 1,000 miles? For me it took 308 days, running on average 25 minutes a day for a total of 130 hours at around 7 minutes and 50 second per mile. I burnt up 130,727 calories or 933 cokes. August was my lowest mileage month (81) and October my highest (134).
