Getting cultured in the Philippines

Since we've moved to Makati, we've attended a few cultured events in the parks around our house. The most recent one was Broadway on Ayala where 3 ladies(The Nightingales) performed some Broadway classics at the Ayala Triangle. It was a nice little evening activity for the family and even Rose(our helper), came along.

Tyler, who seemed to really like their singing, actually managed to sat thru quite a big part of it and kept saying "lady singing" and clapped and cheered when they were done with each song.

We even got to take pics with one of the singers.. we picked the pretty one for daddy.. :)

Tyler was glued...

About 1 month ago, just before my parents left there was also another event that was part of the Salcedo Concert Night Series and that was even more grand. They had a huge stage that accommodated the Philippines Philharmonic Orchestra and a few world class Filipino artists. The whole park was filled with nicely decorated table and chairs under fairy lights lit trees. Almost magical looking. And the most amazing thing was, it was free! They only request that you buy food from them which was tasty and reasonably priced. My only regret, my camera ran out of batteries!!

Anyways, i think these events were really nice and i look forward to seeing more of it and if any of the organizers should stumble onto my blog, awesome job you're doing!!!
