Freezing our buns in West Bay

Rain poured for days after we arrived in England, forcing us to stay in for a few days, which i didn't really mind as I wanted to rest from the crazy travelling. One evening, the sun peeked out for a few moments and the grandparents packed us up in the car and drove us to West Bay to the seaside.

You know, my picture of seaside is one that is warm and sunny and sandy. But in England it is cold, gloomy and full of rocks!! ha!!

But we were undeterred. We piled on our jackets and started walking in the wind and sent Patrick to get us some hot fish and chips! Hmm.. yumm... We did find a small shelter to escape from the wind. After filling ourselves up with some hot food, i was ready to take on the cold and head to the beach to let Tyler build some sand castle with rocks!! OK OK, there were some sand too!

You can see how strong the wind is from Grandma's hair. Ha! Tyler was trying to use his new bubble toy!

See I told you, there was sand!!

Despite the rain and the cold, West Bay was really pretty and it was definitely worth going. It made funny memories and we can always say, "remember the time we froze at West Bay??"
