Gold Hill - Shaftesbury

One glorious day, Grandma chased us out of the house and drove us to Shaftesbury to see the famous Gold Hill. Apparently very famous!! And i can see why! It's a really picturesque little hill with cute little houses on it. Not sure what drove people to build their houses on this crazy steep hill in the olden days.

After abandoning the stroller on the side, we made our way down to the bottom of the hill and all the way up again. Quite the exercise! Tyler thought it was great fun!!

Oooh.. special mention... we picked up some REALLY scrumptious pasties and Dorset apple cake from the bakery near the church at the top of Gold Hill. Hmm.. yummmm...
