Grand National Park Trip - Day 2

We woke up bright and early in Jackson, Wyoming and went out to have some nice crepes breakfast which took FOREVER! After that, we headed straight to the Grand Tetons National Park. We stopped at the national park sign to take our tourist pictures.

The Grand Tetons greeted us with its beautiful jagged edges and beckoned us to come explore. We visited the Visitor Center and decided to take a boat across Jenny Lake for a quick hike. The trail we chose was a 2 mile round trip with some elevation gain. It was dotted with beautiful wild flowers and fierce water falls and babbling brooks.

Popo and KongKong managed to get to the waterfall before they decided to give Popo's knees a little break. We continued on to Inspiration Point(not so sure it was very inspirational). The boys did exceptionally well on the hike(especially Tyler). We took a quick snack break before we headed down as we could see a storm coming in.

On the way down, we managed to see a bear just by the trail which made it very exciting. We met up with Popo and KongKong by the pier and they had apparently just missed the bear!

We took the boat back to the Visitor Center and had a quick lunch before getting back in the car to go check out other parts of the park. It was good timing as the moment we got to the car, it poured!!

For the rest of the park, we mainly oohed and ahhed at the rest of the beautiful scenery of the Grand Tetons from the comfort of the car! I did get let out a few times to snap some pictures.

We then headed back to Jackson. While the kids were doing some Kumon and milk back at the hotel, Popo and KongKong got to check out some shops and sights at downtown Jackson.
