Cody's speech has improved tremendously in the last 6 months and he is speaking in full sentences with some prepositions missing. So that means he can argue back now.
These are the kinds of things we hear constantly:
Me: Tyler, don't do that.
Cody : Tyler, don't do that!!
Tyler : Cody, u are not an adult! Don't tell me what to do!!!
Cody : don't shout, Tyler. Only daddy shouts!!!
Me : ( tee..hee)
Cody : me big boy!!
Tyler : but I am taller than you.
Cody : me big boy now, Tyler!
Tyler : you are fatter than me, but I am still taller than you!!
Me : ?????
