Big cook little cook

Since i was left with the kids while preparing for the Super Bowl party, i thought i'd get them involved. Tyler was more than happy to wear his apron but Cody refused(dunno why).  Anyways, i thought they would be more interested in cooking but i think they like the idea, but not the actual work. So, here's a conversation i had..

Me : Tyler, you want to help Mommy make this? You can put the cheese inside and put a drop of jam.
Tyler : No..
Me : Really? I thought you really wanted to be Big Cook little Cook.. i'm the big cook, you're the little cook.
Tyler : Mommy, little Cook never cooks. He only goes and get stuff and eats the jam..
Me : Realllyyyy??

And the rest of them time, he keeps trying to fetch me all different kinds of things that i didn't need!! And Cody just wanted to play with the egg...

Finally i told him to "paint" the pastry, so,  he thought.. OK, it's not cooking, i can do that!!!
