Valentines at Cholon

We went to Cholon for our Valentines meal.  It is described as modern Asian bistro and has a good reputation and overall Siew Gin and I enjoyed the food despite not having the one dish I really wanted the soup dumplings.

We settled on three small bites - Curried duck springs rolls, my favorite

 The rib-eye satay - didn't like the sauce

 and the calamari which had excellent light batter.

What no Coke?

We shared the shrimp and lobster chow fun which sounded good, when it arrived it did seem to be missing the chow fun and was a lot smaller than we had expected.

Where did the fun go !!

We finished the night with chocolate cake which was great although possibly a little overdone for my taste.
