For the last month or so I have been working on the house, so haven't really done any run training (35 miles in 2014, 100 miles in 2013), so I wasn't expecting to do a great time today, but still thought I could run under my age.
I started off reasonably slow, and after the first two miles I felt pretty good and increased my pace, even running the last few miles faster than last year and felt quite good at the finish.
I made it in 45 minutes, 42 seconds, around 38 seconds slower than last year, all down to the first two miles, overall I was 1,777 out of 45,800 runners.
