Kumon Awards 2014

As a recognition of hard work put in by all Kumon students and parents, Kumon holds a yearly Kumon award ceremony. Tyler was up for two Galaxy awards which means he is 3 yrs above his grade level for his Reading and Math. Cody was awarded a Star Award(2 yrs above grade level) for his Reading and a honorary mention for this Math(he just started back in March).

Tyler was used to the ceremony and did what he was told whereas Cody had showed up to the ceremony without his nap and therefore decided to rub his eyes the entire time when he went up to the front to get this awards which made him look like he was crying(don't ask me why!!!)

Anyways, it's fun as usual to go for the awards and makes all the days of sitting down with the kids(Alan gets the honor of doing this daily) feel a little more worthwhile! And apparently all the Kumon completers says it's worth it at the end!!!
