Preparation for Father's Day

Since it's Alan's first Father's Day, Tyler and I decided we should do something more hands-on and sentimental. We shared this idea with Mateo and Veronica and they thought it was a good idea too and decided to join in. But we had to do this without Alan suspecting.

So, although there was plans for fun things on Saturday like helping Addy move and going to Colorado Springs for sight-seeing and Women's Volleyball game, I had to wimp out of it by coming up with some lame excuses. :)

Turned out staying at home was also good as it gave me some chance to catch up with some chores around the house and of course when Veronica and Mateo arrived, that was when the fun began.

They boys wanted to do something for their daddies. They tried:

Building something cool.. but it turned to be a little more complicated..

Baking a cake, but that too was little tough..

So they made cards with help from their talented mommies.. hehehe :)

And as a special treat, I also baked a 2-layer chocolate cake. Just to let him know that he's been a awesome daddy!

My only good picture of the cake..

Sabrina,

It's band-aid!! For comic purposes, except it wasn't so comical for him when i ripped it off!!
