Florida Vacation - last day

Our Florida trip came to an end too soon. We headed out to the beach one last time in the morning so that the kids can say goodbye to the beach.

After the beach and a quick pack up, we were off!! I have to say that i must be getting better at food estimation because we managed to finish almost all the grocery we bought for the trip! Yay!!!

We stopped at Island Cow for a quick lunch before we started our drive across the state back to Miami to catch our flight.

We took the faster highway this time, so we were in Miami in about 2 hrs. With a few hours to burn before our flight. We thought we'll visit the Miami Beach to stretch out our leg. And as they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. So, we thought we'd break in into the park!

Where are all the shells, mummy?? I tell you, these kids sure have high demands!!!

But because of the bad security in Miami, we thought the safest thing to do is to head to the airport. I have to say, Tyler was behaving like a proper boy this trip by offering to carry one of the bags. And he actually did!! He lugged it around and pushed it when he could.

He fell the first time we were on the train. hehee.. didn't have to tell him twice the 2nd time we got on the train!! And as boys, this is what we have to deal with whenever we go anywhere! 

If there is a bar somewhere, they will swing it!

And of course, according to Murphy's Law, because i didn't bring any extra clothing for Cody on the plane, he had to pee in his pants while sleeping(while Alan was holding him, no less!!!), So, with only a diaper on, i wrapped a jacket around him to preserve his modesty. He walked around looking like he's wearing a kilt! Great entertainment value!!

All in all, i thought it was a fabulous trip! We actually got to do some stuff that's actually fun for us and the kids. They are finally big enough that we can start introducing more adventurous activities! Let's also hope they will enjoying doing new things like their parents, eh!!
